Springfield Armory presented their newest original model at this year’s NRA Meeting.
Say hello to the Springfield Armory XDE.
After first impressions, I want to be one of the first to be able to add the XDE to my range bag and my IWB holster.
The XDE is a polymer-frame, single-stack, sub-compact handgun. In signature Springfield manner, they took a classic and brought it into the 21st Century.
The XDE is an external hammer-fired sub-compact pistol chambered in 9mm.
The XDE seems to be the love child of the XDS and the Mod.2 XD series in the best way possible. All the good, none of the bad.
It has the compact and concealable dimensions of the XDS and the ergonomic and comfort of the Mod.2 3-inch.
The XDE is 5 inches tall, 6.75 inches long (3.3 of which are the barrel), and one-inch wide.
It will be ideal for personal defense and compact enough for your concealed carry needs.
Capacity: 8+1, 9+1
Weight: 25 oz
