I write a lot about CC tactics and guns that I like.

Naturally, people ask me:

What guns do I recommend?

What do I carry?

What are my favorite guns?

First, let me say that,

I am not paid by or represented by any of the following gun companies/manufacturers.

This post is entirely opinion-based.

My preferences and experiences have molded this list.

I present, in no particular order, my personal favorite subcompact 9mm pistols.

Glock 43

Glock’s first swing at the bat for a single stack 9mm was a home run.

The G43 has a few features that I feel should be mentioned. The extractor is also an LCI. The mag release is reversible.

Y’all wanna know how it shoots?

Like a Glock.

The trigger is a little heavy but smooth as butter and the reset for follow-up shots is amazingly short.

No wonder after release it took months before you could find one on the shelf again.

Springfield Armory XD-S (3.3”)

The team at Springfield took what was good (XD Mod.2) and made it better with the XD-S.

When it comes to the XD series, “S” stands for SLIM and boy is it.

Only .9” wide.

Beretta Nano

Beretta Nano, what can I say about the Nano? Besides how awesome it is.

This baby is small, shootable, and concealable.

Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9mm

The Shield is one of those brilliant guns that everyone chooses. Don’t be fooled by peer pressure. The reason it is one of the most popular is that it is a good gun.

It’s not like one day everyone drank the M&P Kool-Aid and all of a sudden it is a good gun.

No, Smith &Wesson made a keeper, this gun will last generations just like the manufacturer itself.

Taurus PT111 G2

The Taurus PT111 G2 is a firearm with a checkered past. Don’t let that fool you though.

This is a brilliant carry gun. It is highly concealable and compact.

I have one very important thing to say about it, it is AWESOME! There is no wonder that(following the re-release) it was among the best-selling guns in the last few years.

Heckler & Koch P30SK

The P30SK is one of the most sought-after concealed carry guns on the market.

The sleek design, adjustable grips, and adaptable feel make it hard to beat the Heckler & Koch P30SK.

Sig Sauer P320 SubCompact

Sig Sauer, oh Sig Sauer

How lovely is the P320!

It is small, reliable, and accurate.

The features, adaptability, and comfortability make this beauty a delight for anyone’s range bag.

Okay, that is it. Those are my favorite 9mm Subcompacts.

What about you? What are yours?
