Unfortunately, we live in a society of predators and people who seek pleasure by attacking others.
Sometimes, an average day can become a day that could change your life.
The question I have for you is, will you be ready? Can you recognize the threat before it is too late?
Any Concealed Carry instructor worth their salt will highlight how to watch for a potential threat so that you can be prepared for anything.
If you are too busy looking at your phone or daydreaming to notice the man in the corner reaching in his jacket top grab a sawed-off 12 Gauge on a Sunday afternoon in the mall. You won’t be able to have a tactical advantage.
If you are too distracted watching the latest viral video to hear the man asking the little girl to help find his ‘lost puppy’, you have lost your tactical advantage and another life is now endangered.
Stay in the moment and remain vigilant!
Watch for Warning Signs!
There are warning signs you can watch for.
Profuse sweating. They can sometimes nervous about what they are planning, or if they are on some form of drug.
Wandering eyes, are they looking for security. Are they keeping too close an eye on children?
Looking for the best location for whatever they have planned.
The way they are dressed.
Keep an eye out for the way some people dress. If their outfit is out of season, be wary.
I don’t mean like wearing last year’s fashion. I mean wearing a trench coat and sweater in the summer. Capable of concealment in the wrong way.
Be Ready, but Don’t Be A Hero!
Always, Always be ready. Be trained up.
But don’t be a hero. Like I said a few months ago in my self-defense post.
“Your first instinct should always be to escape from danger. If you do not know self-defense then get the heck out of dodge.
Unless your life (or someone you care about) is directly threatened, you should escape from danger at all costs.”
There you have it.
Watch for the warning signs.
Be Ready, but don’t be a hero.
And as always,
